Garden (of Lies)

Tonight the hubby had lots and lots of work to do so we decided to pop a movie in to keep us awake. What movie did we pick - the JFK film with Kevin Costner. I shouldn't even speak of this because I'm afraid my silly blog with end up on the government's radar but honestly - WOW. I am speechless and really amazed at how this case was handled. There are so many secrets, pure lies and absolutely no justice. It's very frustrating if you sit and think about it. I can't sleep because of it. But.. instead of sleeping or rambling on about conspiracy theories (that have been planted in my head), I will talk about the seeds that have been planted in the garden!
I literally talk to the plants EVERYDAY. I say "oh Basil, you are doing fantastic. It's okay Zinnias,  be strong and keep growing." I think this is working.
The basil is doing SO amazing and honestly - you can SMELL it! I am really SURPRISED!
So just a few days ago, I said hmm.. it is growing for sure but it doesn't really look like Cilantro. The next day - Poof! CILANTRO leaves can be seen! Look closely - you can see the fanned out leaves right?
This was a surprise! These green onion seeds were only just planted a little over a week ago and look what we can see already!! These will take a long time though for harvesting. But I am excited to see them grow!
The Dahlias (also planted last week) are sprouting! I'm a bit upset with how few there are but let's see!!
