Our Bunny Hop To San Diego!

So this year, since we didn't have the opportunity to fly back East for the holiday, the hubby & I figured out a way to enjoy Easter even though we weren't home - it would be a substitute home away from home! We decided to go see the Philadelphia Phillies play the San Diego Padres on Easter Sunday!! What's even better is that we were lucky enough to have some family join us! My hubby's cousin & his fam (John, wife Julie, adorable baby Shane) joined us on Saturday in the beautiful Gas Lamp Quarter of San Diego! So here's some photos from our fantastic adventure!

Happy Easter Everyone! We missed our families too much this year.

This was in the store window - I thought it was cute.  "You're husband called and said you can buy anything you want."

My hubby loves Bloody Mary's but this one was JAM packed with celery, spices & a massive piece of bacon or was it Prosciutto?! Whatever it was - Hubby gave it a thumbs up for presentation!

Meet Shane! He's too adorable & so happy. We call him the "little old man" because he just sits there, taking everything in. Too funny. Isn't his shirt too cute! He's such a cool little man! Happy First Easter Shane!

We did this part a bit too quick for me so I didn't get as many photos as I would've liked. But.. this is the World War II Carrier (I believe) The Midway. It's pretty fantastic on the water there.

Grandma had a boat named after her?! Spray painted gold slippers, 5 kids (?) & a boat - lucky lady! 

We found this adorable Seaport Village where there were TONS of shops & food windows!  There is John, Julie & Hubby walking through the crowd. And..somewhere in the crowd is a six foot Bunny!! I just didn't snap his photo!?!

Shane was so chilly in the afternoon so the hubby kept him very snuggly! So sweet.

Throughout San Diego - the whole weekend - we saw TOOONS of Fans all dressed in REEEED!! Phillies Love grows strong on the West Coast!! 

We hung out back at the hotel a bit before Shane went sleepies but I caught this moment of him attempting to break free using the bottle cap. I think he wanted to join in on the karaoke fun downtown! Wise little guy I tell you.

I love this. The hubby sat with Shane for quite some time discussing life and all he should expect from the world.  Shane was really, really focused. So is the hubby.
