This Weekend In Pictures...

Here's the weekend snack! Guacamole & chips!! Yummy!!

Not the sunniest of weekends like we had hoped but still a great one! Friday night we took a drive to Venice Beach, which we have found to be such an adorable place! We have taken a bike ride there in the past but mainly stayed Ocean side. This time we walked the streets and loved adventuring around! We found out that every Tuesday they have gourmet food trucks lining the streets so we will be sure to check that out at some point over the next few weeks. We also found out that the first Friday of every month from now on is First Friday - just like in Old City, Philadelphia! This was something Jeff and I enjoyed back home so we are SO glad to know they do it out here as well! We plan on checking it out next month! The wonderful thing about Venice is .. there are all these canals hidden on the side streets where the prettiest houses are! Jeff and I were amazed! I was able to take a few photos of it the next day we drove through for Jeff's haircut but at night - it's just so pretty!

Driving through Venice - Not such a sunny weekend here...

What a secret! Who knew that Venice had so many beautiful homes on the secret canals that are hidden throughout the town? These pictures don't do justice...bridges and lights it's so pretty! I guess that's where it really gets its name -Venice, Italy. 

I just thought this was a strange statue to have at all, let alone above the CVS. 

Isn't this crazy?! There are Medical Marijuana stores all over California & of course - there are Botox offices, right
on the Beach!?!? CRAZY to me but totally normal here.
